Lot 4, Vintage CT Metal The pie plate restaurant Pie Tins Different Eras

The pie plate restaurant was one of my favorite places in Connecticut as a child in the '80s and '90s (I believe it closed in the mid-90s)  Over the years the tins have evolved and changed. All four tins are branded with  the pie plate One of them has no deposit. No return added. What I believe is the oldest is a thicker onel, the newest feels a little less sturdy and shows more of the cutting lines because of material was obviously less durable. These four tins are a wonderful reminder to anyone who enjoyed this restaurant and great for collectors of restaurant memorabilia, baking or advertising. When we used to eat at the pie plate. We'd always buy a pie to bring home and of course they were in a tin . There was always an argument between apple, chocolate, coconut but as es the youngest I usually won with the chocolate cream..
