Anthony Veer Kennedy Tassel Loafers 10M Oxblood – Hand-Burnished Patina

A standout feature is the combination of Goodyear welt and Bologna construction, pairing the durability and resoleability associated with traditional welted footwear with the flexibility and comfort characteristic of Bologna construction. Hand-Burnished Oxblood Patina These shoes have received a careful multi-step leather treatment designed both to condition the calfskin and minimize the appearance of the original factory-second discoloration.  The leather was conditioned with Venetian Shoe Cream, followed by alternating applications of Saphir shoe cream in oxblood, navy, and black. The colors were gradually layered and polished to create a custom hand-burnished patina rather than a uniform single-color finish.  The result is a deep burgundy/oxblood base with subtle navy and dark undertones, producing richer shading, tonal variation, and depth across the leather. The treatment drastically reduced the visibility of the original discoloration while giving the loafers a distinctive, refined character.  The factory-second cosmetic discoloration has been substantially diminished through the conditioning and hand-burnishing process described above. Some tonal variation remains and is incorporated into the patina rather than concealed as a perfectly uniform factory finish.
