Description
The Quimper plate with delicately drawn headdress of lace on the Breton woman is in very good, vintage, used condition with no cracks, crazing or chips. The coordinating Quimper plate of a Breton man is also carefully drawn. There is a small chip on the brown outer edge - best visible in my photo number five. Other than that chip, the plate is also in good antique condition, free of cracks and crazing. Please refer to the reverse sides of both plates for signatures and any indication of use. These well drawn Quimper portrait plates are wonderful displayed on an open shelf, behind glass cabinet doors, or on a wall.
