Vintage Rainbow Metals Welsh Dragon Belt Buckle Solid Bronze Sandcast Celtic

Beautiful vintage Welsh dragon belt buckle by Rainbow Metals, featuring the classic Welsh dragon in raised solid bronze against a dark textured background.  The original Rainbow Metals label remains on the back and identifies the buckle as Sandcast  Solid Bronze  Hand Finished. This is the traditional solid bronze version of this design, rather than the white bronze version that is more commonly found.  The oval buckle measures approximately:   2.43 wide (61.8 mm)  1.83 high (46.4 mm)  0.53 overall depth including hardware  Belt loop opening approximately 1.46 (37 mm)  The buckle has a wonderfully detailed Celtic/Welsh dragon design with an aged dark finish that gives excellent contrast to the raised bronze details.  Vintage pre-owned condition with age-appropriate surface wear and patina. Original Rainbow Metals label is still present on the reverse.
