Description
Long, elegant handles with deep, rounded bowls. Smooth wood grain and rich brown tones. Classic Scandinavian design and craftsmanship. This is a vintage 1950s pair of staved and lathed Teak wood serving spoons crafted by Jens H Quistgaard, and each stamped Danmark on the rear side towards the tip of the handles. They are in pristine condition with no chips or cracks. In all likelihood, these probably pre-date Quistgaard's decades of collaboration with Ted and Martha Nierenberg, the founders of Dansk. They each measure 2.875 in width, 1 in depth, 14.375 in length. Item Details * Designer: Jens Quistgaard * Origin: Denmark (marked Danmark) * Era: 1950s * Material: teak wood
