Pair Vintage Silverplate Bud Vases | Mid-Century Modern Ewer Set (7" Tall)

Matching pair of vintage silverplate bud vases with elegant elongated ewer-style forms and sweeping loop handles.  Each vase has a slender hourglass silhouette, flared angled opening and rounded teardrop-shaped base. The graceful sculptural shape gives the pair a distinctly mid-century modern look and makes them especially striking displayed together.  A beautiful set for single stems, dried botanicals or simply as decorative silver objects on a mantel, console, bookshelf or dining table.  Measurements, each: • Approximately 7” tall • Approximately 2.5” wide  Condition: Good vintage condition with substantial age-related patina and surface wear. Both pieces show tarnish, oxidation, darkened areas, light scratching and finish variation throughout, particularly around the lower bodies and interiors. The silver finish has intentionally not been aggressively polished, allowing the buyer to retain the aged patina or polish further according to preference.  Both bases have blue felt coverings. One felt base shows noticeably more wear/loss than the other.  No major dents or structural damage are visible.
