Description

This is a Jumbo gaff from Nakajima. I recently bought it and had it slightly stretched by a large sea bream (around 20kg) when I used a Belmont Tsubame-Sanjo 5mm double-type gaff. The tip had become dull, so I had a friend at a metalworking shop sharpen it, and it's now quite sharp. I've attached photos of the expanded part.
You'll notice a significant difference in how easily it penetrates compared to a normal gaff.
I've only brought this to fishing spots a few times, and while there are minor scratches, they are barely noticeable. The tip is sharper than when new and can be dangerous, so I carried it with a urethane hose attached for safety, and I'm including that.
