Blue Quill #16 x 3, #18 x 3 Barbless Dry Flies

Finished flies for Tenkara and fly fishing.
Includes 3 flies in size #16 and 3 flies in size #18, for a total of 6 flies.
The actual flies shown in the image will be sent.

These are standard patterns that are being re-evaluated recently.
While designed as dry flies, they also work effectively as Tenkara flies, drifting just below the water's surface.
The flies are based on gray, the common color of many mayfly nymphs. Though understated, their effectiveness is genuine.
The stripped peacock eye body is reinforced with head cement after applying super glue (common instant adhesive) to the base. While UV resin coating is currently popular, it can make lightly finished flies too heavy and compromise their buoyancy.

Hooks are TMC100BL.
The hackle is Brown Gray Dun, a rare color.
