Description
? Thank you for viewing! ?
?? This is the widest and largest log we have ever listed.
?? It was dried slowly indoors, so we believe there are fewer cracks.
?? This is a thick, stable log with a solid feel. It has a gentle cypress scent. We've utilized its natural color, so how about it as an interior piece?

Cypress Log Stool [O]
?The top and bottom surfaces have been planed with an electric planer, the entire log has been ground, and then sanded with sandpaper, making it smooth and pleasant to the touch.
?Felled in August 2025, from Gifu Prefecture.
?Dimensions: Height: approx. 36cm, Diameter: approx. 35cm-40cm (top/bottom).
?Weight: approx. 19kg.
?The surfaces are mostly level, but please allow for some wobbling due to amateur craftsmanship.
?Applying an oil finish will enhance its beauty further.
?? As time passes and drying progresses, the log will gradually become lighter and cracks may appear. Please understand this as a natural process.
?? Mold may also occur. Please dry it naturally in a well-ventilated area, avoiding direct sunlight.
?? As it is a conifer, resin may ooze from the top and bottom edges. If this happens, please sand it off with coarse to fine sandpaper.

?? For packing, we will use newspaper, cardboard, etc., to protect against mold and moisture during shipping.
